Today, we’re so excited to reveal a project that does exactly that—“The One With the Green Sofa.” This living room is a vibrant, layered reflection of our client’s eclectic style and storied life, captured in a space that feels both curated and completely lived-in.

From the start, we knew this room needed a bold centerpiece, and what we found in the striking green tile fireplace surround was the chance to go bold with a sofa to match. It became our anchor—a grounding, eye-catching element that inspired the palette and tone for the entire design. Echoing its rich hue, we selected a lush velvet green sofa that brings drama and comfort in equal measure.

Balancing these statement pieces are a sleek marble coffee table, warm wood tones, and a thoughtful mix of textures that keep the space inviting and warm. But what truly makes this room sing? The art. Our client has spent years collecting unique, meaningful pieces, and we were honored to curate them into two standout gallery walls that serve as bold focal points and storytelling moments.

One of the biggest challenges? The room’s long, narrow shape. But rather than fight it, we leaned in—centering the layout around the fireplace and TV to create an intimate, cozy seating area. Layering in textiles, lighting, and a mix of materials added depth and kept the space dynamic without feeling crowded.
